Last post of 2013

2013 sure went by fast! Looking back at it now, I have to say it turned out to be a good one!
I had a lot of freelance-work, which was fun! I did reach a point in June when I needed a break from it all though, due to other events occuring. Picked it up again after the summer and I've been sketching happily ever since.
Some of the highlights: In August, a game that I art-directed for my day job at NetEnt, Magic Portals, was released and became a success! Legend of Korra was released, which makes a fangirl like me happy! ;) My Instagram-account got some of my biggest art-idols such as Fransisco Herrera, Sean Galloway and J. Scott Campbell as followers, which blew me away! And speaking about followers, both there, on DevArt and here: I've gotten so many sweet, thoughtful and constructive supporters during this year, and I am so grateful for that! Thank you all! Happy New Year! Let it be a good one!
Last but not least, here are my last pieces of artwork from 2013:

Dog dad

Hate colds

I guess it's hard to miss that I have a cold now, ey? :P

Not dead yet, but not exactly healthy

I have had two different colds in two weeks. -___- No fun.

At home with a cold today. So I sketched some griffin designs. This particular fellow is meant to be a mixture between german shepherd and falcon. ^^

Sketchavember #30

The last sketchavember-picture! Wohooo! :D *does the happy-dance* All 30 pictures complete!
It was challenging, and not every day is a good art-day, so you can see the ups and downs I've had art-wise this month. But it has been very fun, and I will definitely do it again sometime!
Hope you all have enjoyed the ride!
More art is coming up as usual, but maybe not every day from now on. :P So feel free to check back anytime!

Sketchavember #19

Gotta admit that the deadline today became a little bit tighter than I had wanted. Came home from the gym an hour ago, and wanted to make something in a painted style. Started sketching, got a sketch done, and started painting. It didn't turn out the way I wanted no matter how I twisted and turned it, and suddenly I realized that the clock was already nine, and I have yet to eat and feed the cat. ^^' So I'll save the painted picture for another day when I have more time to make it justice. So today: have a croc! :)

Sketchavember #18

I would also like to welcome all the new visitors that got redirected here from Facebook today! Hope you'll enjoy your stay. :3

Sketchavember for today: Moonbeam McSwine. :D

Sketchavember #13

Today's Sketchavember is a fanart of Reinard and Mickelina from the Swedish comic "Bamse". :) It had to be done. Oh, and here's some music:

Sketchavember #11

I have a ton of scripts lying around with these characters. Some day, they shall be drawn. But today, here's just one picture for sketchavember. It started out with two random poses, and I added some dialogue that I thought would fit. Feel free to make up the rest, I have no clue. :P

Sketchavember #10

Sketchavember 10. Perspective-practicing. :) And I'll throw in some tiger-studies as well.

Sketchavember has begun! My personal challenge? To make one of these drawings a day, so stay tuned! :)
Anyone else participating?

You can nevar guess which movie I watched recently. ;) (hint:  it involves a nightfury)

Milli Mochi

I made a tiny walkthrough on the drawing I did tonight, just for the fun of it. :)
Done :)

Slowly returning to reality after an awesome weekend at Confusion with Teru and Tias! It was a blast! Definitely returning next year! :D
So expect some cute art from me the coming weeks I guess, since I'm currently processing all the impressions I got during the convention, and it was an overload of cute to say the least! :3

Bookfair and 24h-comic day

So the bookfair is over for this year, and it was a blast as it usually is. ..Actually it was over already last monday, but since I haven't had the time to write a new entry since then, I'll just do it now instead. :) Name-dropping-time!

The fair for me in a nutshell: I got to meet all awesome artists I knew from before and some new ones! One of the most exciting encounters I had was to say hi to Elin Jonsson! I've been admiring her art for quite some time, and based on our quick meeting I think she's an awesome person as well! Be sure to check out her stuff! :)

I also met Karl-Erik, and he asked me to draw a picture of Sabrina and her cat Salem in his sketchbook (containing drawings of a whole bunch of great artists!) that he'd brought along. ^^ My con-drawings usually tend to be a bit shaky, but I managed to finish the request and the result can be seen below. :)

Bookfair comes along with a tradition of doing Göran Semb's "manhood"-test. (trying to…
